Santa Ana, CA – Motorcyclist Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on I-5/Tustin Ranch Rd

Santa Ana, CA (July 10, 2025) – On the evening of July 10th, a hit-and-run accident involving a motorcycle occurred on the northbound lanes of I-5 near Tustin Ranch Road in Santa Ana, resulting in injuries to the rider. According to the California Highway Patrol, officers were dispatched to the scene around 5:47 p.m. They found a damaged motorcycle and its rider lying in the center divider of the freeway. The vehicle responsible for the collision fled the scene before authorities arrived. The motorcyclist sustained moderate injuries and was evaluated by paramedics from the Orange County Fire Authority. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. No other vehicles were located at the scene. CHP officers initiated an investigation to identify and locate the suspect driver involved in the hit-and-run.
