Santa Ana, CA – SUV Wreck on I-5 S/Tustin Ranch Rd Off-Ramp, Leaves Injuries

Santa Ana, CA (July 27, 2025) – In the early hours of Saturday, July 26, a two-vehicle crash occurred on the southbound lanes of I-5 near the Tustin Ranch Road off-ramp in Santa Ana. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the collision involved two small SUVs that came to rest on the right shoulder of the freeway. First responders arrived at the scene by 2:45 a.m.   Although the severity of the injuries has not yet been confirmed, initial reports suggest that at least one of the individuals involved may have required on-site medical evaluation. Authorities did not confirm whether any parties were transported to a local hospital for further care. The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances leading up to the collision.
