Santa Ana, CA – Three-Vehicle Crash on I-5 N/SR-22 Leaves Injuries

Santa Ana, CA (January 22, 2026) – A three-vehicle collision with reported injuries occurred on Tuesday, January 21, along I-5 northbound at State Route 22 in Santa Ana, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash involved a white Honda Pilot, a Toyota Camry, and a commercial truck and occurred near the center divider. CHP officers reported that at least one vehicle, the Toyota Camry, sustained major rear-end damage and required towing.

Fire personnel responded and assisted with traffic control and scene safety. Several individuals were assessed on-site for injuries. One party was later transported to a nearby hospital as a precaution. Vehicles were eventually moved to the right shoulder, and tow services cleared the roadway after extended delays.
