Santa Ana, CA – Two-Car Crash on I-5/Jamboree Rd. Leaves Injuries

Santa Ana, CA (August 29, 2025) – A two-car collision on I-5 North near Jamboree Road left at least one person injured late Friday afternoon, August 29. CHP reported that a white Mercedes and a red Mitsubishi collided in the center divider shortly before 4:40 p.m. Ambulances were called to the scene, where paramedics assessed injuries and transported one individual to a local hospital for further care. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage and had to be towed from the freeway. The collision caused significant traffic delays as officers directed vehicles around the crash site. CHP is working to determine how the collision occurred. Authorities urged drivers to use alternate routes as lanes remained blocked during cleanup.
