Santa Fe Springs, CA – Crash on I-5 S/Rosecrans Ave Leaves One Injured
Santa Fe Springs, CA (June 24, 2025) – Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle collision Tuesday evening, June 24, on the southbound side of Interstate 5 near Rosecrans Avenue. The crash occurred around 7:59 p.m. and involved a white Toyota Highlander and a blue BMW 530i. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), both vehicles ended up on the right shoulder following the collision. The airbags in the BMW deployed upon impact, and debris was reported in the slow lanes, partially over the fog line.
Authorities initially classified the crash as one with unknown injuries, but later confirmed that an ambulance was en route to the scene. Paramedics with the LA County Fire Department responded and provided medical attention on-site. At least one person sustained injuries, although the extent has not been publicly disclosed. It remains unclear if the injured party was transported to a nearby hospital for further care. Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the crash.
