Santa Fe Springs, CA – Injury Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5/Lakewood Blvd Off-Ramp

Santa Fe Springs, CA (December 10, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision on the northbound I-5 off-ramp at Lakewood Boulevard resulted in injuries on Tuesday morning, December 9. CHP reports indicate that a silver Toyota RAV4 and a black Toyota Corolla collided, with one vehicle reportedly facing the wrong direction on the off-ramp shortly after the crash.

Officers noted that the Corolla appeared to have been reversing on the ramp moments before impact, moving against traffic. Fire responders and CHP assisted one injured person who initially did not respond to questions but later received on-scene medical attention. Investigators are assessing what might have contributed to the crash.
