Santa Fe Springs, CA –Truck and Pickup Collide on I-5 S, Injuries Reported

Santa Fe Springs, CA (August 13, 2025) – Injuries were reported on the southbound lanes of I-5 near Rosecrans Avenue came to a halt on Wednesday afternoon, August 13, following a serious collision between a commercial truck and a white pickup.

The crash occurred around 1:14 p.m., prompting an immediate response from the California Highway Patrol (CHP) and emergency crews. Preliminary reports indicate that at least one occupant sustained injuries.

Paramedics assessed the injured party at the scene before arranging for further medical evaluation. CHP officers are investigating the cause of the crash.
