Santa Fe Springs, CA – Two-Vehicle Injury Crash on I-5/Lakewood Blvd.

Santa Fe Springs, CA (December 30, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision with reported injuries occurred on Monday, December 29, on Interstate 5 near the Lakewood Boulevard off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The crash involved a white Chevrolet pickup truck and a white sedan.

Witnesses reported that the Chevrolet pickup had been driving at high speeds and swerving between lanes shortly before the collision. CHP officers responded and located the injured occupants at the scene. At least one individual was evaluated by medical personnel and transported to a local hospital for additional treatment.

Traffic delays developed as officers documented the scene and coordinated the removal of vehicles. Debris was cleared from the roadway before normal traffic flow resumed.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the crash, including reports of reckless driving before the impact.
