Walnut Grove, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 Leaves Man Injured

Walnut Grove, CA (September 16, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision on I- I-5 just north of Twin Cities Road left one man injured Tuesday afternoon, September 16, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). Emergency crews were dispatched around 12:50 p.m. after reports of a crash in the southbound lanes. Upon arrival, responders found two vehicles with visible damage blocking part of the roadway. One man sustained injuries and was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment. His current condition has not been released. Investigators have not confirmed the cause of the crash, but CHP officers documented the scene and worked to determine contributing factors. Both damaged vehicles were later cleared from the highway, restoring normal traffic flow.
