Westminster, CA – Motorcycle and SUV Crash on I-5 Leaves Rider Injured

Westminster, CA (September 3, 2025) – A serious crash involving a motorcycle and a black GMC SUV on the southbound lanes of I-5 at Brookhurst Street left the motorcyclist injured on Wednesday morning, September 3. The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene around 7:37 a.m. Officials reported that the motorcycle collided with the SUV, causing the rider to be thrown onto the roadway.

First responders provided emergency treatment before transporting the injured motorcyclist to a nearby hospital. The extent of the injuries has not yet been disclosed, but police confirmed they were non-life-threatening.

CHP officers secured the area and investigated the scene. Tow trucks later cleared the vehicles from the roadway, and all lanes were reopened shortly after 9:00 a.m. Authorities continue to review the cause of the collision.
