Altadena, CA – Motorcycle Rider Injured in Crash on I-5 at Osborne St. On-Ramp

Altadena, CA (September 8, 2025) – A collision involving a motorcycle and at least one other vehicle left the rider seriously injured on Interstate 5 northbound at the Osborne Street on-ramp on Monday evening, September 8. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported the accident around 6:35 p.m., stating that the motorcycle rider was found down in the roadway and appeared unresponsive.

Emergency medical crews from the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived and provided urgent treatment before transporting the rider to a nearby hospital. Multiple vehicles were reportedly involved in the crash, though the exact number has not been confirmed.

Lanes were temporarily blocked while authorities investigated the scene and issued a Sigalert for approximately 30 minutes. Tow trucks later removed the motorcycle and damaged vehicles, restoring normal traffic flow. CHP continues to investigate the circumstances leading to the collision.
