Altadena, CA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S/CA-134 Con. Leaves Injuries
 
                 
          Altadena, CA (September 9, 2025) – A traffic collision on Tuesday, September 9, left several people injured along the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 at the CA-134 East Connector.  The crash, reported around 5:29 p.m., involved a green SUV and a silver minivan, which came to rest blocking multiple lanes of traffic.

California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers arrived shortly after the accident and confirmed that at least one party sustained injuries. Paramedics evaluated the victims at the scene, and one person was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The crash caused significant slowdowns during rush hour as crews worked to move the damaged vehicles and reopen the roadway.
The exact circumstances of the collision remain under investigation by CHP. Authorities are reviewing roadway evidence and witness statements to determine what led to the impact.
