Capistrano, CA – Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-5 N/El Toro Rd. Leaves Injuries

Capistrano, CA (August 9, 2025) – A serious traffic collision occurred on the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 near the El Toro Road exit on Saturday, August 9, leaving at least one person injured. The crash involved a box truck and a blue Tesla. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the collision happened shortly before midday. First responders worked quickly to assess the injured parties at the scene. At least one individual sustained injuries and received on-site medical attention before being transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
