Capistrano, CA (August 9, 2025) – A collision involving a white Chevrolet Tahoe and a red Hyundai Sonata occurred on the afternoon of August 9 along Interstate 5 North at Avenida Vista Hermosa in Capistrano, resulting in at least one reported injury. The crash occurred shortly after 1:00 p.m., prompting a rapid response from the California Highway Patrol and emergency medical personnel. Witnesses stated that the two vehicles collided in the right lane, causing the Hyundai to spin before coming to a rest against the median.
