Los Angeles, CA – Four-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S/Broadway On-Ramp Leaves Injuries

Los Angeles, CA (August 9, 2025) – A serious four-vehicle crash occurred on the evening of August 9 on Interstate 5 South at the Broadway on-ramp in Central Los Angeles, resulting in at least one person injured. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), one of the drivers sustained a visible nose injury and was bleeding at the scene.

Paramedics arrived shortly after and provided immediate medical attention before arranging transport to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. The identities of the drivers have not yet been released. Authorities are still working to determine the exact cause of the crash. Crews worked to clear the wreckage and assist the injured.
