Castaic, CA – 5 South Crash near Live Oak Rd Leaves Pedestrian Injured

Castaic, CA (February 12, 2023) – A pedestrian was left injured as a result of a crash that took place in Castaic on Thursday morning, February 9.

Just before 1 a.m., a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on the southbound side of the 5 in the area near Live Oak Road.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene and blocked off multiple lanes while providing assistance.

The pedestrian was rendered aid by responding emergency medical services personnel. The victim was then transported to a local hospital.

The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the accident.
