Portland, OR – Injuries Follow Crash on I-5 Freeway near SW Terwilliger Blvd Exit

Portland, OR (February 12, 2023) – The Portland Police Bureau was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident that had taken place on Saturday morning that left at least one person with injuries.

The police were notified at approximately 11:10 a.m. on February 11 about a collision that occurred on the Interstate 5 Freeway.

According to officials, vehicles collided on the southbound side of the freeway in the area near South Terwilliger Boulevard. Authorities responded to the scene and closed off the roadway near the exit.

Emergency medical services responded to care for the victims who suffered injuries before transporting them to local hospitals.

The police department is currently investigating to determine what caused the accident to take place.
