Central LA, CA – Two Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S/I-10 Con.

Central LA, CA (July 20, 2025) – Late Saturday night, July 20, a two-vehicle accident on the Interstate 5 South and Interstate 10 West connector near the 8th/Soto exit left two individuals injured. The crash, reported around 11:32 p.m., involved a white Dodge van and a blue Hyundai SUV that collided in the number 2 lane, partially blocking the freeway. California Highway Patrol units arrived at the scene shortly after receiving the call and coordinated with American Eagle Tow to remove the disabled vehicles. Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Injured parties received on-site medical evaluation before being transported to nearby medical facilities. CHP officials have not yet released a cause for the crash. Officers are continuing their investigation.
