Coalinga, CA – Collision on I-5 S/Derrick Ave Off-Ramp Leaves Several Injured

Coalinga, CA (August 22, 2025) – On August 21st, a multi-vehicle crash occurred along the southbound lanes of I-5 at the Derrick Avenue off-ramp in Coalinga, leaving several people injured. The California Highway Patrol reported that at least three to four vehicles were involved in the collision, which blocked portions of the roadway and caused significant traffic delays in the area. Emergency crews quickly responded to the scene to assess the victims. At least two individuals were transported to a nearby medical facility for further evaluation and treatment.
