Josephine Co., OR – Fatal Wrong-Way Head-On Crash on I-5/MP 62, Two Injured
Josephine County, OR (November 25, 2025) – A tragic wrong-way collision on Interstate 5 on Saturday, November 22, claimed the life of a Grants Pass woman and left two others injured. Oregon State Police reported that the crash occurred near milepost 62 when a Chevy S-10 traveling south in the northbound lanes struck a Volvo commercial motor vehicle head-on. The driver of the Chevy, 34-year-old Annette Dimmick, died at the scene despite emergency crews’ immediate response.
The truck’s driver, 68-year-old David Michael Jellison of Alliance, Ohio, and passenger, 29-year-old Ceejay Clay of Warren, Ohio, were transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. Both were expected to recover, according to authorities. OSP investigators remained at the scene for several hours, documenting evidence, reviewing roadway markings, and working to determine what led to Dimmick’s wrong-way travel.
