Los Angeles, CA – Injuries Reported in Crash on I-5 at Florence Ave.

Los Angeles, CA (August 27, 2025) – A serious collision involving a U-Haul box truck and a black sedan caused injuries on Wednesday afternoon, August 27, on I-5 North near Florence Avenue. The crash, reported around 4:14 p.m., left both vehicles blocking the HOV lane, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Paramedics were dispatched to the scene and provided medical treatment to the injured before transferring at least one person to a local hospital. The vehicles sustained visible damage, and debris covered the roadway, further complicating traffic flow. Traffic was heavily congested in the northbound lanes as CHP officers and tow crews worked to reopen the affected area.
