San Diego, CA – Motorcycle and SUV Crash on I-5 Leaves Rider Injured

San Diego, CA (August 27, 2025) – A crash involving a motorcycle and a black Honda CR-V led to injuries on Wednesday morning, August 27, on I-5 North just south of SR-54 in San Diego. The accident was reported around 9:47 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. When officers arrived, they found a gray motorcycle and the SUV with significant collision damage.

The motorcyclist sustained injuries in the crash and was quickly transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The SUV driver’s condition has not been reported.

Authorities blocked off part of the roadway as they cleared debris and investigated the circumstances surrounding the collision. Traffic slowed in the area but later resumed once the scene was cleared.
