Los Angeles, CA – Injuries Reported in Three-Vehicle Crash on I-5/San Fernando Rd.

Los Angeles, CA (August 31, 2025) – On Sunday morning, a three-vehicle crash left several people injured on the southbound I-5 near the North San Fernando Road interchange in Central Los Angeles. Reports indicate the crash involved a red vehicle, a gray vehicle, and a third car, with all three coming to rest in the fast lane and shoulder area. Debris was scattered across the roadway, creating dangerous conditions for passing motorists. CHP officers quickly responded and coordinated with paramedics to assist those hurt in the crash. At least one individual was transported to a local hospital for further treatment, while others were evaluated on-site. Tow trucks later arrived to clear the damaged vehicles and restore traffic flow. Investigators are working to determine what caused the collision.
