Los Angeles, CA – Injuries Reported in Tow Truck-SUV Crash on I-5 N/Lyons Ave.

Los Angeles, CA (July 29, 2025) – A crash involving a flatbed tow truck and a green SUV caused injuries on northbound Interstate 5 near Lyons Avenue late Tuesday morning, July 29. The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m., prompting a swift response from Los Angeles County CHP officers. One person was reportedly injured in the crash and received on-site medical assistance before being transported to a local hospital for additional evaluation. The severity of the injury has not been disclosed. Both vehicles sustained noticeable damage, with debris scattered across the lanes. Authorities temporarily closed down several lanes to facilitate emergency response and towing operations, causing slowdowns in the surrounding area.
