Orange Co., CA – Two Injured in I-5 N Collision Near Katella Ave.

Orange County, CA (July 29, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash on the northbound I-5 near Katella Avenue resulted in injuries and traffic disruptions on Tuesday evening, July 29. The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene at around 6:26 p.m. after reports of a white Tesla colliding with a baby blue Hyundai sedan.   Two people were treated for injuries, one of whom required transportation to a nearby hospital. The other was evaluated at the scene and released. CHP officers conducted traffic control while paramedics provided aid and towing crews cleared the wreckage. The crash is currently under investigation, with authorities examining possible contributing factors such as driver distraction or failure to yield.
