Los Angeles, CA – Injury Crash Involving SUV and Pickup on I-5/SR-170 Con.

Los Angeles, CA (July 29, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash involving a black Lexus SUV, a pickup truck, and an unidentified third vehicle occurred on the evening of July 29 along northbound Interstate 5 at the SR-170 North connector in Altadena, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash was reported around 7:23 p.m. and quickly drew emergency attention due to the severity of the impact. All three vehicles came to rest in the middle lanes, obstructing traffic during peak evening hours.

At least one person was injured in the collision, and an ambulance was dispatched to the scene. The injured party received on-site medical attention and was later transported to a local hospital for further care. The California Highway Patrol remained on the scene to direct traffic and begin an investigation into what caused the crash.
