Los Angeles, CA – Motorcycle and Vehicle Crash on I-5 N/I-605 Leaves Injuries
Los Angeles, CA (September 18, 2025) – A motorcycle and vehicle collision on I-5 northbound near the I-605 interchange left one rider injured Thursday morning, September 18. The California Highway Patrol reported the crash at 8:54 a.m.
After arriving on the scene, officers found that a motorcycle had collided with a passenger vehicle in the northbound lanes. The motorcyclist sustained injuries and was treated by responding paramedics before being transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further medical care. The driver of the vehicle was reportedly uninjured. Authorities temporarily blocked several lanes as they investigated the crash and cleared the scene.
CHP has not yet released the cause of the accident, but speed and lane merging are being considered in the investigation. The incident led to significant traffic congestion during the morning commute, though lanes were reopened within an hour.
