Los Angeles, CA – Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on I-5 SB/SR-110 Con. 

Los Angeles, CA (July 31, 2025) – A deadly crash involving a motorcycle and at least one other vehicle occurred late Thursday evening, July 31, on the I-5 Southbound transition road to SR-110 South in Central Los Angeles. California Highway Patrol (CHP) and the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the collision around 10:10 p.m. on July 31.

According to reports, a blue motorcycle collided with a red sedan, causing the motorcyclist to go down on the transition road. The rider sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity, pending family notification. Multiple vehicles stopped on the transition road, with bystanders attempting to assist the motorcyclist before emergency responders arrived.

A tow truck was called to remove the motorcycle and the damaged sedan from the roadway. The area remained shut down for several hours as investigators from CHP and local authorities conducted a full assessment of the scene to determine the cause.
