Los Angeles, CA – Multi-Car Crash on I-5 S Con. Leaves Several Injured

Los Angeles, CA (July 7, 2025) – A multi-vehicle collision occurred on July 7 in the southbound lanes of Interstate 5, near the SR-170 South connector, resulting in multiple injuries. Three vehicles, a black Ford Fusion, a black Toyota Corolla, and a black BMW, were involved. California Highway Patrol officers arrived on the scene to assist those involved and begin an investigation. Preliminary reports indicate that the accident may have occurred due to sudden braking or a chain-reaction collision. At least two individuals were evaluated at the scene, and one person was transported to a nearby medical facility for further treatment. The involved vehicles were heavily damaged, and tow trucks were called to the scene for removal. CHP is continuing to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
