Los Angeles, CA – One Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 Near Hwy 2
Los Angeles, CA (October 10, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision in Central Los Angeles left one person injured on Wednesday, October 8, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 1:15 p.m. on the southbound lanes of the 5 Freeway, near the Highway 2 interchange. Two cars were involved in the accident, though officials have not yet released details on what led up to the collision.
Paramedics responded to the scene and transported at least one person to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries. The condition of the injured individual has not been disclosed.
Traffic in the area experienced delays as CHP officers worked to investigate and clear the roadway. Tow trucks later removed the damaged vehicles from the scene.
