Los Angeles, CA – Semi-Truck-SUV Wreck on I-5 S/S Lorena St, Injuries Reported

Los Angeles, CA (July 23, 2025) – A collision involving a semi-truck and an SUV on the southbound lanes of I-5 at South Lorena Street resulted in reported injuries on Wednesday evening, July 23. The California Highway Patrol responded to the crash around 6:37 p.m.

Reports indicate that a semi-truck collided with a silver Honda Pilot near the right shoulder of the freeway, causing significant vehicle damage and traffic delays. Medical teams arrived shortly after the collision and treated the injured at the scene. One individual was later transported to a local hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

CHP officers directed traffic and began an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
