Westminster, CA – Injury Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-5 S/Beach Blvd.

Westminster, CA (July 23, 2025) – A serious multi-vehicle crash on I-5 South near Beach Boulevard left several people injured on Wednesday evening, July 23. The California Highway Patrol troopers arrived at the scene around 7:00 p.m. after receiving reports of multiple vehicles involved in a collision.

Emergency medical responders treated multiple victims on-site. Two individuals required transportation to the nearby medical center due to injuries sustained during the crash. Traffic congestion persisted for more than an hour as crews worked to clear the wreckage.

CHP officers launched an investigation into the cause of the crash, which may have involved a failure to maintain distance or abrupt lane changes. Authorities have not released the identities of those involved as the investigation is ongoing.
