San Diego, CA – Motorcyclist Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S/Civic Center

San Diego, CA (July 23, 2025) – A motorcyclist sustained injuries following a two-vehicle collision on I-5 South near Civic Center on Wednesday afternoon, July 23. The California Highway Patrol responded to the crash around 4:51 p.m. Initial reports indicate the accident involved a motorcycle and another vehicle just north of Front Street.

Upon arrival, San Diego Police and EMS personnel assisted the injured motorcyclist, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation and treatment. The other driver reportedly remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Authorities are reviewing dashcam footage and driver statements to determine liability. Investigations are still ongoing.
