Los Angeles, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 Con. Ramp Causes Injuries

Los Angeles, CA (August 13, 2025) – A collision between two passenger vehicles occurred on Wednesday afternoon, August 13, on the I-5 South to SR-60 East connector in Central Los Angeles. The crash, which occurred in the gore point area, involved a black Honda Civic and a white Toyota Corolla.

CHP officers responded to find both vehicles damaged and partially obstructing the ramp. Emergency personnel assessed the occupants for injuries, though the extent remains unconfirmed at this time. Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the scene. Traffic along the connector ramp slowed as crews worked to clear the wreckage.

Authorities are examining whether speed or unsafe merging played a role in the incident. No citations have yet been issued.
