Los Angeles, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 N/I-605 Leaves Victims Injured

Los Angeles, CA (August 19, 2025) – Early Tuesday morning, August 19, a two-vehicle collision on I-5 North at the I-605 interchange left several people injured in Los Angeles County. The California Highway Patrol officers reported the crash occurred around 6:18 a.m. in the northbound lanes when a black SUV collided with a black sedan. Emergency responders, including paramedics, quickly arrived at the scene and confirmed that at least one person had sustained injuries. Victims were evaluated at the scene, with one individual transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further care. The collision created heavy congestion during the morning commute as CHP units worked to clear the roadway and document the crash.
