Orange Co., CA – Injury Collision on I-5 S Near La Paz Rd.

Orange County, CA (August 19, 2025) – On the evening of August 19, a two-vehicle collision along Interstate 5 South near La Paz Road left at least one person injured. The crash, which occurred around 7:06 p.m., involved two vehicles. The California Highway Patrol officers responded promptly, confirming that emergency medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Paramedics provided immediate care to the injured before transporting at least one victim to a local hospital for further treatment.

Both vehicles sustained noticeable damage, and the scene required lane restrictions while tow trucks removed the wreckage. The crash caused delays for drivers in both directions as authorities worked to reopen traffic flow safely. CHP officers have launched an investigation to determine what caused the collision.
