Los Angeles, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S/I-605 Leaves Injuries

Los Angeles, CA (July 28, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 South near the I-605 North interchange left at least one person injured on Monday evening, July 28. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the accident occurred around 5:44 p.m. and involved two passenger vehicles that collided in the far-right lanes. Emergency medical teams from the Los Angeles CHP unit arrived on the scene and provided immediate care. One injured occupant was stabilized at the crash site and later taken to a nearby hospital for further medical attention. Authorities closed one lane of traffic temporarily to allow safe cleanup of debris and removal of the damaged vehicles. An investigation is underway to determine what contributed to the crash.
