Los Angeles, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash With Injuries on I-5 at E Cesar Chavez Ave

Los Angeles, CA (July 29, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision with reported injuries occurred early Tuesday morning, July 29, on northbound Interstate 5 near East Cesar Chavez Avenue in Central Los Angeles, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash was reported just after 7:00 a.m. and involved two vehicles. The extent of damage to the vehicles was not immediately disclosed, but officers confirmed that at least one individual sustained injuries. First responders arrived promptly, and the injured party was assessed on-site. Due to the condition of one victim, they were later transported to a nearby medical facility for further evaluation and treatment. The CHP is actively investigating the circumstances leading up to the crash.
