Santa Ana, CA – Injuries Reported in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-5 N/Main St.
Santa Ana, CA (July 29, 2025) – A three-vehicle collision on the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 at Main Street in Santa Ana left multiple people injured Tuesday morning, July 29.
The crash, which occurred around 10:56 a.m., involved a blue Honda van, a pink Tesla, and a black Chevrolet sedan. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the cause of the accident is still under investigation. First responders from Orange County and CHP units quickly arrived at the scene and assessed the injured parties.
At least one person sustained moderate injuries and received immediate medical attention at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for further care. Traffic was significantly impacted in the area as emergency crews worked to clear the vehicles and debris from the roadway. Authorities have not yet released the names of those involved, and it’s unclear if any citations or charges will be issued. Investigators are working to determine what contributed to the crash.
