Los Angeles, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash with Injuries on I-5 S/Fletcher Dr

Los Angeles, CA (August 24, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 South near Fletcher Drive caused injuries on Sunday evening, August 24. The accident occurred around 6:05 p.m. when a white Tesla collided with a red Toyota Prius along the right shoulder. CHP officers and Los Angeles Fire Department units responded to the scene and confirmed that at least one person sustained injuries. Paramedics provided on-site treatment before transferring the injured to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Additional vehicles, including a red Hyundai Elantra and a silver Nissan Pathfinder, were also reported near the scene, though it is unclear if they were directly involved. The crash blocked an on-ramp for a period of time as investigators and tow trucks worked to clear the wreckage. CHP continues to investigate the factors behind the crash.
