Los Angeles, CA – Two-Vehicle Injury Crash on I-5 N/Branford St.
Los Angeles, CA (January 13, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision on Interstate 5 northbound near the Branford Street exit resulted in reported injuries on Monday, January 12. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the crash occurred just north of the Branford Street off-ramp and involved a white Jeep Cherokee and a black Kia sedan.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded and temporarily blocked the HOV and No. 1 lanes to assist those involved. One individual reported pain at the scene and was evaluated by medical crews. Tow trucks were requested for both vehicles due to front-end damage, particularly to the Kia.
Traffic was slowed for an extended period while responders worked to clear the roadway. CHP is reviewing the circumstances surrounding the crash.
