Modesto, CA – Two-Vehicle Injury Crash on I-5/Fink Rd.

Modesto, CA (January 12, 2026) – On January 11, a two-vehicle injury collision on Interstate 5 North near the Fink Road off-ramp resulted in emergency medical response after one vehicle left the roadway and entered an orchard, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

The crash occurred in Stanislaus County and involved a white sedan and another vehicle that left the scene before being identified. CHP reports indicate one vehicle traveled for 75 feet into the orchard, while the second vehicle came to rest on the right shoulder.

Fire crews and American Medical Response arrived to assist the injured parties and secure the area. Several people sustained injuries and were evaluated by paramedics at the scene. Due to the vehicle’s location off the roadway, a wrecker was required for recovery.

Authorities have not confirmed whether any injured individuals were transported to a hospital, though medical evaluation was provided on-site. CHP continues to investigate the incident to clarify the sequence of events.

We hope for a swift recovery for the injured individuals.
