Newhall, CA – One Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision on I-5 at SR-14 Con.

Newhall, CA (August 5, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 North near the SR-14 connector caused injuries and lane closures on Tuesday, August 5, around 12:30 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. The accident involved a white Chevrolet sedan and an unidentified gray SUV. Paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after the collision and treated one injured individual. That person was later transported to a nearby medical center for further evaluation. CHP units stopped traffic momentarily to assist in clearing the vehicles and assessing the scene. The CHP has launched an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
