Newhall, CA – Rollover Crash on I-5 S/SR-14 Con. Injures Driver

Newhall, CA (August 31, 2025) – On Sunday, August 31, a rollover crash left a driver trapped inside their vehicle along Interstate 5 southbound near the SR-14 connector in Newhall. Los Angeles County Fire crews and CHP responded shortly after reports came in. A gray Mazda CX-9 collided with an unidentified vehicle, causing the Mazda to overturn onto its side.

The driver was initially trapped inside before being freed by firefighters. Emergency medical staff provided treatment at the scene before transporting the injured driver to a nearby hospital. Authorities worked to clear the wreckage and restore normal flow.
