Newhall, CA – Two-Vehicle Wreck on I-5 N at Posey Canyon Causes Injuries

Newhall, CA (August 14, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash on northbound I-5 near Posey Canyon in Newhall resulted in injuries Thursday morning, August 14. CHP officers responded to the scene around 9:42 a.m. The collision left both vehicles with visible damage and partially blocking the roadway.

Paramedics evaluated multiple people for injuries, with at least one person transported to a nearby medical facility for further treatment. Traffic delays were reported as officers worked to manage the scene and allow for safe removal of the damaged vehicles.

Investigators are still determining the circumstances leading to the collision.
