North Co., CA – Three-Vehicle Crash on I-5 N/Via De La Valle Causes Injuries

North County, CA (January 22, 2026) – A three-vehicle collision with reported injuries occurred on January 21 along I-5 northbound near Via de la Valle, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash involved a red Toyota sedan, a silver hatchback, and a gray Ford Mustang and resulted in traffic hazards across multiple lanes. CHP officers reported that one vehicle came to rest on the right shoulder while two others remained blocking the left lane, causing significant slowdowns.
