Oceanside, CA – Injury Accident Reported on San Diego Freeway near Harbor Dr

Oceanside, CA (February 12, 2023) – An automobile accident prompted the response of the California Highway Patrol on Saturday evening, February 11.

At around 4:40 p.m., vehicles collided on the southbound side of the San Diego Freeway. The incident caused Highway Patrol officers and firefighters to close off multiple lanes near Harbor Drive.

Authorities worked to remove the damaged vehicles and debris that was scattered along the roadway.

At least one person involved in the accident suffered injuries. Emergency medical services were called to care for the injured victims and to transfer them to local hospitals.

The California Highway Patrol has initiated an investigation into the crash.
