Oceanside, CA (December 2, 2025) – A serious multi-vehicle crash on I-5 southbound near Las Pulgas left several people injured on Monday, December 1. Drivers told officers they saw debris flying across the freeway just before multiple vehicles braked suddenly. Some vehicles, including an Acura sedan and a commercial van, sustained significant damage.

Traffic was partially blocked as CHP and Camp Pendleton units coordinated lane closures and airship landings. Tow trucks removed several disabled vehicles, and crews later assessed guardrail damage.
