Oceanside, CA – Motorcycle and Vehicle Crash on I-5 N Leaves One Seriously Injured

Oceanside, CA (December 1, 2025) – A serious multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 5 northbound just past the Camp Pendleton checkpoint left one rider with major injuries on Sunday, November 30. According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved a dark gray Chevrolet and a motorcycle, with additional vehicles stopping nearby as traffic backed up in the right lanes.

Officials confirmed that the motorcyclist sustained major injuries and was transported by ground ambulance to Mission Hospital for emergency care. CHP reported that multiple good Samaritans initially stopped, though it remained unclear whether all vehicles found on the shoulder were directly involved.
