Oceanside, CA – Motorcycle Crash on I-5 S Leaves Rider Injured

Oceanside, CA (December 17, 2025) – A serious motorcycle-involved collision occurred on I-5 southbound near Lomas Santa Fe Drive on December 17, leaving a rider injured, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash involved a motorcycle and at least one other vehicle, possibly a Mercedes traveling in the fast lane.

CHP officers arrived to find the motorcyclist lying in the roadway, with the bike down in the HOV lanes. Reports indicate the rider may have been thrown toward the center divider upon impact.
